The McKenzie River Trail is a bit of a must-ride trail for mountain bikers. After years of mentally-noting it, my stars aligned, and thanks to Horse Creek Outfitters, they got me set up for a very reasonable price on a good quality bike and to the trail with their shuttle service. Coming from out of state, I was very satisfied to find out they offered a Giant Trance with dropper seat post and choice of SPD or flat peddles--they clearly understand offering a quality ride for a great price. For a remote location, it was all I could hope for, but not expect--so this exceeded expectations! This mountain bike outfit is really great. The equipment is well maintained and the owners and staff are happy to answer any questions. In addition, the facility does offer additional services such as showers if you want to wash off after a long day of mountain biking.
Randomly picked this shuttle service to trail run the McKenzie River Trail. Ended up camping here because I really liked the vibe and loved it! Elijah and Alyssa were so friendly and accommodating. We had an incredible rafting trip with Gary, who went above and beyond to accommodate our group. We have a disabled person in our family, and they made it effortless for everyone to experience river with ease. The river was gorgeous and the rapids were just big enough to provide an adrenaline rush while still seeming safe and manageable. We loved the stories and info about the local ecosystem that Gary was able to provide. Great jokes too! Pick these guys! They deserve your business.

They gave everything a mountain biker visiting might need. They can help with tools and work bench for tune-up. They even have a little pumptrack to play while at camp.
